Since it opened in 1997, the L.I.F.E. Center for Independent Living has been dedicated to helping people with disabilities live lives with confidence, independence, and dignity. The Center serves as a resource for people of all ages with all types of disabilities in St. Francois, Madison, and Ste. Genevieve counties, Missouri. We provide advocacy, support, and services to help individuals make their own life choices, and we also work to educate our community on disability issues and to increase accessibility for everyone.
Many of the staff members at L.I.F.E. experience a disability, and all of us understand that most people can expect to be challenged by some sort of disability in their lifetimes, if only due to the normal aging process. We therefore take our work seriously, because we care about our community, and we care about you.
